Welcome to Poplar Point Camp and Conference Center.  Poplar Point Camp is an independently incorporated 501(c)(3)  non-profit organization owned by the Southern District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  We are here to assist churches and other ministries by providing a place for camps, retreats, banquets, and other special events.  Civic, family, and other types of groups are welcome to use the facility when scheduling allows.  Our purpose is to provide a place where people can get away from the world for a while and get alone with God.

Southern District Teen Camp is June 3-8, 2012: Click here for brochure/registration form.

The theme for our teen summer camp this year is "Just TEN." God is the author of the absolute truth we see revealed in the Ten Commandments.

One may wonder why this or why the Ten Commandments? If the surveys tell us anything it is that our Christian young people are fast losing a sense of moral absolutes.

Our desire then, this summer is to reinforce God's unchanging nature by looking at the unchanging moral laws which transcend all times, seasons, and cultures.

We want every young person walking away from camp understanding who God is and what he says.

Carlos Saavedra will be the speaker for the week, Jay McCullough will be directing. The Toccoa Falls Music Team will be leading worship for the week.

This is a win-win for our district. First, we can be blessed by their talent and ability. Second, they will spend time talking to our young people about college and how to prepare for it.

Southern District Elementary Camp is June 10-15, 2012: Click here for brochure/registration form.

The theme for the 2012 Alliance Elementary Camp (1st-5th grade) is "Law and Order" taken from the Ten Commandments.

Our goal is to bring our district children face to face with an awesome God by teaching them the Ten Commandments.

This week will equip them to comprehend and respond to absolute truth.

Here is the medical release form which ALL campers MUST bring with them to camp, along with any outstanding registration dues.
